I simply can not believe it. A friend of mine said I need to leave a voicemail instead of sending his phone a text. A text takes like 5 seconds to send and 5 seconds to read. A voicemail takes like 5 rings, that stupid girl to tell me to do all this stuff if I DON’T want to leave a voicemail while giving me no option to bypass her and just leave it, then I have to leave a detailed message all because I wanted to say What’s up!!! Welcome to the 21st century, learn how to text!
Someone said to me today that if you never have done something you regretted, you have not lived a full life. I completely disagree with this. There are things that I may have done differently in my life, but that doesn’t mean I regret them. They were tools to make me a better person today than I was yesterday. Life is full of obstacles. We take each one in stride and hope every decision we make is the right one, but we are not perfect. Life is too short to look in the rearview mirror. Focus on the future.
It’s funny when people say “money is the root of all evil.” Then they go off about it saying how it’s the most ridiculous quote in the Bible and ask how they can get anywhere without money! Let me start by saying you are idiots. Money isn’t evil. The Bible states “the LOVE of money is the root of all evil.” If you love money, you put it ahead of God. This is what He is referring to. Second, if you are in this circumstance, it sounds like you have already put money ahead of Him. You need prayer!
I live in Minneapolis. It’s April and it is snowing. I don’t know where you are from or where you want to go, but I highly recommend not coming here. For some reason, this year’s winter seems like an eternity. It was one of the coldest I have ever experienced in my 28+ years here. We had a stretch of 16 days of below freezing weather! To fully understand this, your freezer usually stays above zero degrees Fahrenheit at all times…yeah, YOUR FREEZER!!! Our city is a natural freezer box! When will it ever end!
I thought I would spend a few minutes being “real.” There are current conditions in out country that are absolutely depressing. The economy aside, we have millions of dollars worth of damage in Fargo, ND. I take a bit of pride in anything related to this town as I went to college at Minnesota State University Moorhead. Although it’s under different circumstances I wish this, it’s always great to see the fine people of Fargo and across the Midwest lending their helping hand in this tragedy. My thoughts and prayers are with them as they battle nature. God bless Fargo!
It appears that Sony has gone all out in creating a TV that is as thin as a credit card. I would be afraid of breaking this thing! I mean when do we consider it unnecessary to keep improving a good thing? LCD and Plasma TV’s are already great! Once the digital switch has been turned on, all viewing will be improved with that alone. Besides, when did we decide to let reality TV and late night comedians become the center of our day? Maybe we should start brainstorming how to help American pick up a book and read!
There are many rip-off’s we all fall for. Some of us may fall harder and more often than we would like to admit. First one I fell for was Quixtar. I forked over the $120 after a great pitch by some guy named Ben. A few infomercials grasped my attention, and my wallet fell faster than a cowboy off a bucking bull’s back. Buying insurance for a rental car tops the list. Rental companies always offer insurance to their. The truth is anyone with full coverage is already covered under their own policy! Hey, I’ll take what I can get!

Religion is always a sensitive subject. If you have read some of my past posts you might have seen me display a religious take on several topics. The one thing that astonishes me is people still doubt the existence of God. They believe in the big bang theory or evolution. Yet they fail to look around themselves and realize everything has a purpose. It was intentional not by sheer coincidence. God created heavens and earth. God created man in his own image. The bible says so. Don’t believe the bible? Prove something about it is false!
